The story of a home, the legacy of generations.
From the 1950s to the 1990s, this home witnessed the life of a family in Göreme. Children grew up here, meals were shared, the harvest from vineyards and gardens was prepared for winter; animals lived in its cave rooms, while grapes were transformed into grape juice, molasses, vinegar and wine.
Once the home of Grandpa Mehmet and Grandma Havva, the house was passed down to their son Mustafa Sarışın, and then to his children and grandchildren. His wife, Ruşen, came to this home as a bride, and their daughters Havva, Figen and Filiz were born here.
In contrast to Göreme's traditional father-to-son inheritance, this precious legacy is now carried forward by three sisters and one brother, together.
